I don’t think you have anything concrete to stand on. Saying you don’t have evidence to stand on shouldn’t mean you can imply whatever you want without any evidence for it. This post is literally the equivalent of Pizzagate.

A few twitter comments (on a site known for deranged conspiracies about elite sexual depravity) and the implication that Thiel is blackmailing young men to have sex with them, and threatening their deaths if they don’t comply, is frankly a frankly ridiculous accusation. You present an unfounded theory about a sexual conspiracy, then present an alternative worded to make it look ridiculous as possible, and tell the reader to choose. Honestly, really bottom of the barrel stuff.

Some of the comments you show are quite obviously satire; “After being broken in they are directed to start B2B SaaS companies” (a common meme in startup culture).

Nevermind. I took a look at your profile and realized you’re retarded to start with. What a waste of 5 minutes.

Hello again Will. Always nice to see you.

I just don’t like when I see people claim with confidence something that has very little evidence. Truth over the aesthetic of the argument IMO.

I respected Thiel very much until I read about his side piece who had committed suicide in Miami. Holing someone up in a condo to use as a sex toy and probably recruiter is abuse of power among other things

I had thought he was married and traditional and when I read about it I was like oh, he's a party gay dude type. It's made me suspicious but that's just due to what I know about those types of gay guys having known them in my college years and they would compete with women over straight guys and hit on your boyfriend types and you'd have to not hang out with them then so your man didn't get harassed.

I don’t care if he’s gay but it was obvious he was ashamed of it and hated being outed. He seems a brutal and nihilistic sort. He supports some creepy people and groups. I don’t think the typical MAGA churchgoing family would find him the savory sort. That is why the whole regime is built upon hypocrisy.

He often brought his boyfriend(s) to parties and the whole Silicon Valley knew about it. However. what Gawker did made him lose some important contracts with the Saudis, and apparently there were problems with his parents (who were old Republicans of course, although they could not adapt to life in the US and thus have moved to Sydney). That was why... He does not like the MAGA crowd, never did. He has just openly admitted to have used Trump and the "populists" to cause political disruption, which he believes to be better than "stagnation". He lives mostly in a sheltered bubble, as he could not even understand how he was "diverse", when Facebook lawyers tried to explain this to him - Marc Andreessen and Elon Musk still laugh about that until this day.

He is not "brutal" in style, but I do think the way he treated his three lovers could be considered cruel...

The more wealth someone has, the more power they have, and the more they have to lose. Trickle down is an absolute myth. If anything, as someone becomes richer, the more they are focused on hoarding and the more they become paranoid that everyone wants a piece of their pie. Billionaires are like kings running around our society. They have power because they're wealthy, but their personality is hit or miss, and no one signed off on them having power. It's power achieved through a side door. A "good" billionaire is just luck of the draw. The more likely scenario is that the billionaire is "bad" and abuses their power and competes with democratically elected governments. They tell themselves they're "oppressed" because others are "after their money". They flock to authoritarian figures because they can relate. They fund the campaigns of politicians that can help them personally. Many billionaires achieved their wealth through working around the system or abusing it directly, or they just inherited it. A billionaire who inherited their fortune is a monarch, plain and simple. I could go on, but the point is: billionaires should not exist in a democracy. Billionaires are mini-monarchs (oligarchs) that compete with democratically elected governments. They are incompatible with democracy.

Thiel is an absolutely heinous person. Spend 10 minutes on the internet and you can find his history from his Natzi racist father through his disdain and abuse of lgbtq - even though he is married to a man. Thiel is one of the heads of Heritage Foundation and project 2025. Most of what is happening in our country he is behind.

I've been tracking sexual assault in tech for 8+ years. I speak to survivors, who reach me via word of mouth.

If there was going to be a #metoo tech moment, it would have happened already. I very much wanted it to happen, because I'd love for folks to know so that the endemic assault can stop but...I highly, highly doubt there will be a scandal.
